It increases rear downforce by making it more stable at higher speeds. The Viento Rear diffuser is solid Carbon fiber and it fits firmly in place on your lower rear bumper. If you prefer something with a less aggressive look, consider our Razzo Carbon Fiber Diffuser. If you have clear bra, Paint Protection Film (PPF), installed, the diffuser will install right over it. If you have any ceramic coating on your front end, you will need to use a magic eraser sponge to remove the coating to ensure a strong bond with the 3M double sided tape. Ground Clearance: The rear end ground clearance is slightly lowered. If you use caution when driving near curbs, speed bumps or driveways, lowering springs or coilovers will not cause your diffuser to get scratched Note: After you install it we recommend wrapping it in clear bra paint protection film.
