Diese Batterie ist für die dauerhafte Versorgung von Stromverbrauchern wie Wechselrichter oder andere 12 Volt Verbraucher konzipiert worden. Sie ist die Lösung als Antriebs- oder Versorgungsbatterie zum Beispiel für Wohnmobile, Solar, Boote, Schiffe oder Elektro-Fahrräder. Der Lithium-Eisenphosphat-Akkumulator (LiFePO4-Akkumulator) ist eine Version des Lithium-Ionen-Akkumulators, bei dem die herkömmliche Lithium-Cobaltoxid-Kathode durch eine Lithium-Eisenphosphat-Kathode ersetzt wurde. Diese Batterie zeichnet sich durch hohe Lade- und Entladeströme, eine sehr gute Temperaturstabilität und eine lange Lebensdauer aus. Außerdem ist sie umweltfreundlich und 100% sicher, unbrennbar und nicht explosiv, es besteht kein Säureverlust. LiFePO4-Batterien enthalten keine giftigen Schwermetalle. Auch die batterietypische Gasung findet nicht statt. Die Batterie ist um 2/3 leichter als eine gewöhnliche Blei- oder Gelbatterie und extrem zyklenfest. Außerdem kann sie auf volle Kapazität aufgeladen werden und hat aufgrund der geringen Selbstentladung eine lange Lagerfähigkeit. Anders als herkömmliche Lithium Batterien besteht diese aus vier einzelnen Blöcken. Ein klarer Vorteil ist das unkomplizierte Auswechseln einzelner Lithium-Blöcke. Die Batterie wird mit einem LiFePO4-Batteriemanagementsystem (BMS) geliefert, das jede einzelne prismatische Zelle während des Ladens und Entladens überwachen und optimieren kann, um die Batterie vor Überladung und Kurzschluss zu schützen. Insgesamt trägt das BMS dazu bei, einen sicheren und präzisen Lauf zu gewährleisten. Wahlweise auch mit Bluetooth erhältlich.
