The new ‘New to you’ tab could be found in both website and application of YouTube. The users can facilitate themselves in various ways using the newly launched tool. The tab is positioned alongside other tags including, Trailers, Music and Mixes etc.
The newest addition to the platform could be available at a refresh, in case you’re using a smartphone.
Furthermore, one can easily find what he is looking for, based on his preferences, likes and interests; it is now very convenient to search relevant content as it is less time consuming and easy to access.
Moreover, it will be equally suitable for creators to reach and target new audience across the world.
The newly added feature came into existence after the decision of lawmakers in the Senate spread, that they will be questioning applications like YouTube, Snapchat and Instagram on how the respective platforms influence and affect the brains of minors using these apps. It is also to be noted that the Senate Subcommittee includes members from Consumer Protection, Data Security and Product Safety departments.
