Shehroze Kashif becomes youngest Pakistani to summit Mt Everest

Shehroze Kashif, at the age of 19, became the youngest Pakistani mountaineer to reach the summit of Mount Everest (8,849 meters).

This is Shahrooz Kashif’s second victory above 8,000 meters. Earlier, at the age of 17, he hoisted the national flag on Broad Peak (8,051 metre), the world’s 12th highest mountain.

 

Kashif’s achievements

  • At the age of 11, Kashif Shahrooz climbed the Makra Pak 3,885 meters
  • At the age of 12, Kashif Shahrooz climbed the 4,080-meter-high Musa Ka Musalla
  • At the age of 12, Kashif Shahrooz climbed the 4,600-meter Chembra Peak
  • At the age of 13, Kashif Shahrooz climbed the 6,050-meter peak of Manglik Sar Peak
  • At the age of 14, he headed to the 5,585-meter-high Gondogoro La K2 Base Camp
  • At the age of 15, Kashif Shahrooz crossed the 5,890-meter Khurdopin
  • At the age of 18, Kashif Shahrooz climbed the 6,050-meter-high peak Khosar Gang Alpine Peak
